What we collect on this site
This site is static and has no accounts, no forms and no tracking or advertising cookies. We do not set cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. These are used for security and operations, retained for a limited period, and not used to identify individuals or combined with any other data.
If you email us
Email you send to us — including corrections requests and licensing enquiries — is retained so we can answer it and maintain the corrections log described in our corrections policy. We do not add correspondents to marketing lists.
Data about companies, not consumers
Our products describe businesses and their ownership, drawn from public government filings. Where a filing names an individual in a business capacity — an officer or an owner of record — that name appears because the government published it in that capacity.
We are not a consumer reporting agency and our output may not be used for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If you believe information about you is wrong, our corrections process applies, and we will say plainly when the correction has to be made at the agency rather than by us.
Other sites we operate

Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers only where needed to operate the site, such as hosting.
